Boston Bridge Tour

Fort Point Channel Bridges

The first four bridges are located along the Fort Point Channel which connects South Boston to the rest of Boston.  The bus can drop students off by the Barking Crab and Federal Courthouse on Northern Avenue.

This channel has a great variety of bridges and was a trial of different movable types of bridge in the early 1900s.  This allows us to be able to show students such a variety of bridges within a small space and a limited time.

Charles River Bridges

These are the two newest bridges to Boston. The first is most notable as part of the Big Dig project, while the second is a pedestrian bridge connecting Cambridge and Boston.  The bus can go under the Zakim Bridge to drop students off so they see the bridges from a different angle.
